On October 2, 2026, Wayzata High School invites you to celebrate and honor the inaugural Hall of Fame induction class. This Hall of Fame is dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements of its inductees and fostering pride in the school’s long-standing athletic traditions, which span over a century.

The athletes, coaches, and supporters being honored have not only represented Wayzata with distinction but have also achieved some of the highest accolades in their respective sports. This recognition highlights Wayzata's commitment to excellence and the enduring spirit of its athletic community.

21 Wayzata High School students have been named semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.

High school juniors entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which served as an initial screen of program entrants. The nationwide pool of 16,000 Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. About 15,000 of these semifinalists are expected to advance to the finalist level in February. National Merit Scholarship winners will be selected from the group of finalists beginning in April.
